Community Representative needed (Honolulu – Diamond Head)

Au Pair Foundation, a leading au pair agency in the US, is looking for a Community Representative to work with Host Families and Au Pairs in the Honolulu/Diamond Head area.

This work-at-home, part-time position offers great flexibility and great reward. You will work with our Host Families in learning more about the au pair program, during the matching/interviewing process with potential au pairs, during the year that the Host Family and Au Pair are together, and work with the Au Pair Foundation staff to ensure compliance with the Department of State.

This position offers great compensation for recruiting new host families onto the program and for servicing the existing Host Families and Au Pairs we have in the immediate area.

Adobe Lightroom / Premiere CS5 processor in late afternoon and nights (Anywhere)

We're a real estate photography company looking to have someone process the photos and videos that we take each day.

- Adobe Lightroom 3.0/4.0 experience required (import, export, selecting multiple photos, syncing, reading histograms). It's largely automated but there are moments where you have to tweak color channels, fill light, center the image, etc to your own taste. Photoshop is used only for cloning out things and replacing skies.

- Adobe Premiere CS5 experience required (import, export, cutting, titles, reading histograms). There is a specific format and presentation layout for each video that we want to follow.

- Must have an artistic eye for aesthetically pleasing real estate images.

- Ability to design professional fliers a plus, but not required - Adobe InDesign.

- Ability to upload finished images to an FTP and to a public web slideshow.

- Need to be able to work in the late afternoon and night and be able to do the processing jobs quickly as they come in. My clients require same day turnaround. Photos/Videos will be emailed to you and you will immediately download and work on them. Can be as late as midnight.

- Need to have a very fast internet connection for uploading photos to an FTP server and to a website. We are dealing with large files that you need to constantly download and upload. Test your speed here and report back: http://www.speedtest.net/

- Punctual and efficient.

- Need to communicate *very* promptly with me (call, text, or email) to coordinate delivery of products to clients as fast as possible.

- Need to be computer literate - we will be working with zip files, uploading to FTP, JPG files, mp4, avi, h.264, and macros.

- You must provide your own laptop and Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere and InDesign if applicable. In my experience, a modern laptop with at least an Intel Core i3 processor is necessary. An SSD is a big plus.

- Work at home, at a Starbucks, anywhere with a 4G network, anywhere with a fast internet connection

- This job is part time, on a contractor basis.

- Must be able to start immediately

- Pay is based on per job - starting at $7 per project completed, expect to be able to do 2 projects per hour if you're quick. I can do 3-4 in an hour. Expect 1-10 jobs each day.

- Pay for a video job is still undecided. It takes me half an hour to an hour to cut and finalize a video, so the pay will be around $30 for processing video. It's all just following a defined format, so it should be quick.

- Job is seasonal - expect lots of projects during the summer, almost none during the winter.

Quickbooks Union Payroll Clerk (Haiku, Maui)
