Social Media Guru Internship (Milwaukee Area)

Golf Pipeline is a start-up sports marketing and reservation services company that successfully launched on April 1st, 2012. Our goal is to become the premier tee time reservations and invitation company in the golf industry.

We are seeking a social media guru to help establish and promote our brand. This position will handle the following duties and responsibilities:

-Develop a Social Media Campaign to successfully introduce the Golf Pipeline brand to golfers, golf courses, media persons, professional golfers, equipment manufacturers, and others

Golf Pipeline is seeking Sophomore or, preferably, Junior interns to help drive its first summer of operations. The ideal candidate will have a Business or Communications major with any related discipline.

Job duties will be performed through a combination of work-at-home and in-office work as assigned. Interns will be considered in both Milwaukee and Chicago.

Candidates should have independent transportation options and should be willing to drive for up to a few hours away from their local area, on occasion. For the most part, work will take place locally.

The practice representative will create relationships with local businesses, professionals and organizations by means of networking and scheduling external events such as lectures and screenings.

Duties will include:

• Scheduling, organizing, and working at health screenings/fairs
• Scheduling lectures and workshops for the doctor
• Building referral relationships with other healthcare providers & businesses
• Setting Business Meeting Appointments for Doctor
• Maintaining database and correspondences with existing and potential patients.
• Providing mailings and other networking interactions with event locations and potential referrals sources to create and maintenance excellent rapport.
• Meeting community leaders and developing new relationships through chamber events and networking groups just to name a few.
• Develop marketing plans with doctor and staff
• Implementing marketing projects to completion
• Assisting part time as needed in the office with patient scheduling and doctor and staff support.

The successful candidate will have some or all of the following:
• Self starter
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Adept with Word and basic computer and Internet skills
• Must have own transportation
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Be able to work at home and in the field
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule (15 hours per wk) to start.
• Chiropractic experience preferred, but able to learn chiropractic basics.
• Personally healthy and fitness oriented
• Outside sales experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills
• High energy and outgoing.
