Commercial Sales ( Entry Level ) (Norwalk)

Connecticut Acquisitions Group, Inc is a privately owned marketing firm that specializes in new client acquisition for large corporations in some of the top leading industries throughout the United States. Due to recently obtained new client, we are in the process of expanding our sales department.

This is a full time position with room for advancement into management. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) sales and marketing for corporate clients, attending and/or hosting weekly conference calls, campaign management, potential employee evaluation, training and coaching new staff members and territory management.

Requirements:

RE: Telemarketing Opportunity college connect (work at home )

Ok let me start off with saying apply to this job at your own risk. Not only are these people deceptive but you will spend long hours on calls with no possibility of being paid at all. For starters you are not pre qualifying people for colleges, but you are screening people for a senior campaign. This means you will be asking elderly people if they are interested in senior living communities. In addition to this, there is no real information on the company you are working for, just verbatim on what nursing homes are. To make matters worse, everyone is required to sign on with the same log in info. This is a clever way to not have to pay anyone. If everyone is on the same log in all the time, then there is no way for the "production" to keep track of whose doing what calls. Now for "payday" or the elusive 6 dollar per call or 6 dollar per transfer depending on what they tell you. If you apply to them, you might find that you dont get paid and why?? well because there is no way they can track the calls you made and not only that they set ridiculous expectations.
Please save yourself the time, but if you do apply to them you were warned.

Work as part of a small team based in our office in Southport, CT. • Maintain Active Directory user accounts and security groups
• Setup and maintain employee's computers, operating systems and applications
• Log all company equipment in asset database
• Support employees who work at home or in other remote locations. Train end users when necessary
• Report regular updates to the IT Manager and other members of the IT team on work progress
• Train end users in phone operation, troubleshoot any issues as they arise
• Keep the Southport office network running efficiently and escalate any issue promptly to minimize any potential down time, to network team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience of troubleshooting PC, laptop, printer and mobile devise equipment and problem solving

Good basic understanding of Local Area Networks
Knowledge of HP Proliant servers, Exchange 2003/2010, VOIP, and VPN remote access technology would be advantageous but not essential
Ability to multi-task and project manage own work load effectively
