HTML Wizard – Telecommute Full Time With Salary (Salt Lake City or Any US City)

This job requires you to turn sales copy into super awesome HTML. To get this job you must be a good communicator on the phone and via email. You must be patient with people. And you must be great at HTML/CSS, the DOM, Javascript, and jQuery.

This is a telecommute position with flexible work hours for a full-time individual employee. It's not open to outsourcing companies or development groups! We're looking for a team member. No agencies or consulting or outsourcing groups! Job candidates only!

About the Job:

  • We have a team of Webmasters who help our customers build small e-commerce sites using our checkout software. It's a fun group of laid-back people, and 80% of us telecommute. We're currently looking for at least one additional team member.

  • Most of your communication will be over the phone/skype and via e-mail. The job requires talking directly to clients on the phone (although it is NOT a sales or tech support position--it's strictly HTML!) You will need project organization skills, the ability to work in a self directed fashion, and a detail oriented mind.

  • Unless you can demonstrate solid ability in HTML, CSS and Javascript, you won't qualify. We are a web software company, and you will be creating sites that use our software. You don't need to be a software designer, but you WILL need to understand our software and interface your web pages with it in order to do this job. The ability to use and debug Javascript is required.

  • We know a lot about HTML design, and we'll test your skills. There isn't any way to BS your way into this position. We use Bootstrap CSS a lot and if you don't know it you should go learn it before you apply for this job!

  • Skills with photoshop are required. Most of the design is already done by the time it gets to you, but you need to be able to fix a broken image or chop up a PSD and replicate it precisely with awesome HTML.

  • Visual design skills and some artistic talent with Adobe Illsutrator are a big plus!.
